Hey people, how are you doing today? Hope you're all fine. This week I'm going to write about my favourite piece of technology. I was not sure at the moment to decide between my Blackberry (cellphone) or my laptop. My cellphone let me communicate with my familiy and friends and doesn't need WIFI for using internet. But my laptop let me communicate with my family and friends too and I can do more things with it that my Blackberry can not do. For example; Downloading music, wathcing videos, recording music, keeping more information than cellphone, reading books that can not be found physically, etc. So I decided to choose my laptop as my favourite piece of technology.
When I was 16 years old I was doing a class work that covered a lot of information on the computer. I needed to bring this information to the class and the classroom didn't have a computer, so my pendrive was a little bit useless this time. Then my mom decided to give me as a present a laptop for work. I'm not sere what she does mean with "rok" because actually I use laptop for everything; fun, homework, communication, etc.
I use my laptop most of the days of the year for a lot of activities. For example; writting to my friends that live in another country, investigationg about classes'topics, reading the news and checking facebook and twitter. I'm a musician, so I have to listen a lot of music everyday. At University, teacher show us new musical pieces/artists/musicians everyday and I search this information on Internet. I love to read and in nowadays books are really expensive and hard to find. Laptops/Computers are a really great tool to search some texts that are scaned on some blogs.
My life without my laptop would be a little bit complicated because I would have to depend on cybers or another person computer to do the things I'd like to. I think that I shouldn't so dependent on technology but that's another point that I'll write about it any other day. Good afternoon my dear reader.

My Favourite Band
Hi my dear readers. How are you? I hope you're ok. Today I'm going to tell something really important about me; my favourite musical group.; Queen.
Since I was 12 years old Queen has been my favourite rock band. Queen was a british rock band formed on 70s constituted by Freddie Mercury(vocals and piano), Brian May (lead Guitar), John Deacon (Bass Guitar) and Roger Taylor (Drums).
I grew up listening to Queen's music because It was my mom's favourite band too. I remember when I was a child She used to sing to me "Love of my life" before going to bed in the night. When we were going to school and I felt sad she turned the radio on and put "Don't stop me now". That made me really happy. Most of the bands/artists I like were influeced by Queen. For example: Guns N' Roses, Bon Jovi, George Michael, etc.
When I began to learn music I used to listen Queen every day because I wanted to play the piano as Freddie Mercury or composing a guitar solo as Brian May.
As I told you on my last post, I am a musician and I think that Queen is a band that every person that plays an instrument or works on music should listen Queen. Why? There are a lot of reasons:
1- First one, They were a band that exprimented with many popular music's genres; classic rock, punk, rockabilly, Rock opera jazz and blues. For example: Bohemian Rhapsody (rock opera), My melancholy blues (jazz), Sheer Heart Attack
2- Queen's Musicians were great. They had really big knowledge of musical theory and harmony.
3- Their song's lyrics are very poetic and deep. For example: Love of my life, White Queen, In the Lap of Gods, Dear Friends, etc.
4- In my opinion, Freddie Mercury has been one of the most important musicians on popular music. His voice was one of the most powerful voices on the world of rock (and one of the most beautiful too) and his piano's skills were awesome.
5 -Rollign Stone magazine said that Brian May was one of the best rock guitar players. Brian may designed his own guitars and created his own personal sound (something that few 70s musician used to do). Brian May is a multi-instrumentalist artist. He plays guitar, piano, harp, etc.
When Freddie Mercury died a lot of artist did a Tribute Concert playing the most important songs of the band (Tie your mother down, Bohemian Rhapsody, I want to break free, etc). Some of those artist were: Elton John, Axl Rose, Robert Plant, Slash, George Michael, James Hetfield, etc.
I could be talking about Queen and "Why do I like Queen" the whole day. I think this Band's music is completely magic, full of energy and I would like that everyone could appreciate that. Well, that's it. Have a nice day!!! =D
