My Favourite Picture

Hi people, how are you doing this week? Hope you all are fine. Today I'm going to talk about one of my favourite pictures (the one you can see up).

This picture was taken in London on a agoust's sunny day on 2010. In that moment I had made a trip to England. I was staying in Oxford's city because I was learning English Language in a summer program. One weekend, my classmates and me visited London. I guess it was saturday. I had a german classmate that wanted to buy an Abercrombie & Fitct's cologne. We were walking down the streets for four hours aproximately. It was a really nice and awesome long walk because we crossed for really interesting places. For Example; The Hyde Park, Amy Winehouse's apartment, Isaac Newton's home, Abbey Road Studio, etc.

No one knew where the A&F's shop were and I felt really tired, thirsty and hungry but then a miracle happened to me; We found A&F's shop. My friends on Caracas always told me about that shop and his products; "Oh Rodrigo, their shirts are cool" or "The cologne is so delicious". I think that entering to A&F's shop was one of the weirdest expriences of my whole life (and I was just sixteen years old haha). When I went into that place the first thing that I saw was a male top model (yes... I'm not kidding. I swear by God there was a young man with no shirt and really big muscles at the entrance of the place). Then, when I entered to the place everything was dark and the only thing I could hear was techno music playing on really high levels of sound intensity. I decided to wait outside. A few minutes later, my friend left the shop telling me that the cologne was really expensive and he didn' have so much money. So I thouth "you made walk for 4 hours just for telling me you didn't have money". Then We both began to laugh. Thanks to him I met a lot about London.

I haven't told you about the picture yet, please forgive me. I had bought a coke because as Itold you before, I was REALLY thirsty and when we were going back to the meeting point we both saw that sculpture on the picture. I told to my friend that I would forgive him for having made me walk so much for nothing If he took me a picture sitting on it. So I just posed and Voilà, there you got it! I was really happy that day, because I met some new places and I felt really independent.

When I went back to Caracas, my history teacher and good friend of mine told that those who were with me on the picture were F.D Roosvelt (32nd president of USA) and Winston Churchill (Prime Minister from England on 1940-1945 and 1951-1955). I didn't know that interesting piece of information. Then he told me that I should be Stalin (mmm Stalin with a coke haha).

Well, I guess that's it, have a nice afternoon. Bye!!!
